Misconceptions About Keeping Turtles

It is worth noting that keeping turtles does not require complicated equipment and tedious operations. You do not need to change water frequently, nor do you need to use purified water or extra materials like volcanic rocks. Some merchants may promote items like volcanic rocks, claiming they can make keeping turtles simpler, but in reality, these are not essential. Just as people selling dogs might tell you that dogs cannot eat human food, these claims often carry certain commercial purposes.

Simple methods can keep turtles alive and even raise them well, but it is not entirely as literal as it sounds; you also need to have a certain understanding of turtles. For example, turtles are poikilotherms (cold-blooded animals); there is a lot of content involved here, so do not treat and think of them as homeotherms (warm-blooded animals) like us.
