Temperature Control

Turtles are cold-blooded animals and cannot regulate their own body temperature. In summer, the water temperature should not exceed 30°C. In winter, if the room temperature is low and you want to provide heated overwintering, maintain the water temperature between 20–25°C, which requires using a heating rod. For turtles hibernating naturally, the ambient temperature should be kept above 0°C, with 5–10°C being optimal.

Feeding Strategy

While turtle pellets can serve as the sole food source, professional breeders supplement with small fish and shrimp, vegetables, fruits, etc., to ensure a balanced diet.
